The warmth and coziness the image spreads is the first thing that sticks out to me. The colours as well as the arrangement are well-chosen, whether consciously or via intuition, that is, of course, obscure and part of the artist's secret (says she with a smile). The composition of colours benefits from the complementary green and red focus, colours which cause the impression of balance and one-ness.
Green as a background could symbolise a soothing and satisfactory foundation, which is perfected with the steam manipulated as floating, bright hearts of different colours. One gets the impression they lift up, which works "uplifting", spreading the warmth with a hint of one's favourite tea smell (which differs for the individual viewer as everybody has a different preference).
The forefront is held in autumnal colours, in contrast to the bright, young green of the back ground, adding the complementary effect of ripeness, age and wisdom, which adds to the feeling of "contentment".
The choice of books underlines this even moreso. A Queen of Babble would indicate a bunch of (possibly mature) people assembling and "babbling" over tea (or coffee) about stories gone by or even Love (O Corazon).
If one was to go further into symbolism, the cup on top as the 5th part could symbolise the 5th element. But not sure if I should go that far to say that the photographer intended this thought. If that was the case, I would say this is really, really clever.
However, it is overall very cleverly done! Thumbs up!
